The ‘Running Free’ Run Group is led by Michael, a keen athlete and runner. He is also a support worker for My Place (Yorkshire) An organisation that offers high quality housing and support for young people. Principally, they have supported and housed a number of unaccompanied asylum seekers aged 16+ and have also set up a run group. The group frequently attend Middleton Parkrun and other local events as part of their training.

This run group would like to extend its welcome to other young people interested in running and the support that training with a group can offer.

The group meet every Wednesday at 6pm at either the Bike Park in Middleton or Hunslet Moor – if you are interested in joining for the first time then please get in touch first to confirm.
