Couch to 5k (C25K) is a nine week training plan where you do three sessions of exercise per week. with the aim of getting someone who does little or no exercise to a position where they can run for 5km (3 miles). The plan starts with walking and light jogging and over time will reduce the amount of walking and increase the amount of jogging. It is suitable for people who have done no exercise for many years.
We will run at least one session per week for nine weeks aimed at people who are working through the C25K training plan, showing you what to do in that week, with advice on how to improve, in a friendly non-judgmental and safe environment.
The FREE training plan will start on May 30th 2017 and finish on July 25th, with the expectation that you do parkrun on July 29th. If this sounds like something you would like to do, please follow the signup link and input your details.
