      Hi Sara,

No later starts, unfortunately it’s just 6pm. I see you are going to check the Lakers session out – that would be the best thing to do 🙂

I am trying to get back to running. I have done a 10k run before, but lost my confidence and self belief.

Hi Jennifer, The South Leeds Girls group is perfect reintroduction to running! It is female only, caters for all abilities and is extremely encouraging and supportive! Get down to a session and give it a go, you wont be disappointed!

Hi Sherrelle, the group is for complete beginners so you and your sister are fine to join the group. Sessions are every Monday, meet at 6pm at the new bike hub (old gold club) in Middleton. For more info please contact Dani Penney on dani.penney@yorkshiresport.org. Enjoy your run!

Hi Sarah, it is free to attend every week. You do not need to book on, simply meet the group at the Phoenix Bar at John Charles Centre for Sport (south stand) at 6pm on a Monday and a run leader will sign you in. Enjoy!

Hi Debbie, if you go the Phoenix Bar in the stadium building (not the aquatics) then you will catch the ladies signing in the runners for the session. Enjoy your run!

Im wanting to start running for a social reason and my health. I am a complete beginner and probable unfit which I want to change. However I do work shifts so attending regular may be a problem dependant on days and times you do this and feel a bit apprehensive about joining on my own when everyone already knows each other. Can you please advise what sessions you have and what happens.
