One of the newest events to grace the Leeds running scene is taking place the weekend of Friday 30th June to Sunday 2nd July  – Endure24 is coming to Leeds!

Endure24 is exactly what it says, a 24-hour running race for solo runners and teams of 2 – 8 runners. Most people’s initial reaction is that it must be incredibly hard and only for ultra runners or experienced marathoners but the reality is very different. Around 50% of the runners taking part will have never run further than 10K.

Billed as ‘the Glastonbury for runners’ you’d be hard pressed to match this unique event. Fancy the challenge? You and your team can sign up here

I am writing to you hoping that you may want to assist an aspiring runner.

I have been into crossfit and some running for the last six months. I am 45 years old and ran my first 10k in feb in 62 minutes. I need help with my running so that I can prevent injury and run longer and faster. I am very interested in trail running of which I have no experience. I plan to be in the Headingley stadium area from 16th June to 6th July and need private attention. Is there a trainer you can recommend who can spend the three weeks with me and help me with my running?

My apologies again and hope that you can help me.
