Join the Light Night Neon Run

Ben Fraser

Light Night Art Runs – aka the Neon Runs – are the best way to see the art and be the art on Light Night Leeds. 150 runners all decked out in hundreds of lights and glowsticks come together in dazzling fashion to will weave their way through the Light Night crowds. The runners snake their way in one massive line all the way the city centre, taking in all the best installations and activities and having a whale of a time as they go.

This year the runners will be making noise too, playing maracas, blowing whistles and tooting their horns so everyone knows they’re coming. They’ll be taking a break en route outside Leeds Arena to take part in the Urban Games, making them the brightest relay runners ever. The run is 4km long and there are lots of brief stops on the way. It’s free, lots of fun and a great way to see lots of the Light Night activities.

Runners MUST register in advance. Sign up here – http://runleeds.co.uk/signup/light-night/
