5k and 10k night run on the shortest day of the year with virtual option

The Winter Solstice Strider is a sister event to our popular 5 mile Summer Solstice Saunter.

This event takes place on the Winter Solstice on 22nd December 2023 and is a head torch dark run of either 10k or 5k. The run starts at the STRI and winds through the woods (and fittingly past Druids Altar) within the St. Ives Estate at Bingley.

As usual with our solstice events, all participants will receive a fantastic bespoke medal this year.  The event is sponsored by Coco & Barley Dog Walking Services, and supported by our hosts at the STRI and the St. Ives Golf Club, who provide a large proportion of the free parking that is provided for participants.

The event is organised by Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and supported by STRI and the Bingley St. Ives Golf Club.
