Mondays 6pm - (Coached beginner (2-3 miles), & improver (3-5 miles) session) – Phoenix Bar
Wednesday 6.40pm - (Social 5 mile jog, with stops) – Overflow Car Park
Thursday 6pm - (Social 6-8 mile run with looping back) – Phoenix Bar

The group are a collective of women from South Leeds, getting together to have some 'me' time and get a bit fitter. The group is predominately a social group, with some coached technique thrown in. They all work as hard or as easy as they feel on the night and dip in and out, as work/life allows. The Sisters have linked up with Hunslet Hawks and Cross Flatts parkrun to be as involved in the local community as they can.
The Sisters can run a mile in 12 minutes, some do it in 10 and others in 8. Some class themselves as beginners and others less so. All of the sisters turn up with the sole intention of running together with techniques like the loop back.

Hi I am interested in getting my fitness up in running I am quite unfit at the minute so would take me time to be able to do a long run but I am willing to give it a go?
What would you suggest is best for me and do and what days for my area od LS12 and do I pay for the running groups?

Hi Jordan, many of the run groups are free without any membership/session fees! I would suggest popping along to the South Leeds Lakers - a mixed running group that run every Tuesday at 7pm in LS11 (check them out in the groups section). You will meet a lovely bloke called Ewan when signing up - explain what you want to get out of the group and he will support accordingly

Hi, can I please join your beginners group on Monday, I used to run but in the past two years I have gained a good few stone and become unfit and can’t run but I’m now swimming a few times a week and would like to run again,

Hi Lynsey, of course you can join. Just turn up before 6pm on a Monday in the Phoenix Bar (south stand)
